More About Us
Young People's Foundation Trust (YPFT) is locally rooted, collaborative and an integrated support network for all Young People Foundations.
We work at a national level to bring local YPFs together, providing shared infrastructure, coordination and support that enables local partnerships to operate more effectively. YPFT does not deliver services directly.
Our role is to strengthen the conditions that enable local organisations to collaborate effectively, secure funding, and share learning. By linking local partnerships with wider networks, opportunities, and national influence, YPFT ensures that insight and expertise move in both directions, amplifying community voices in national conversations while bringing relevant knowledge back into local areas where it can have the greatest impact.
Alongside our broader network function, YPFT also facilitates collaboration and shared learning within key focus areas. One such area is Supplementary Education, where local partnerships play an important role in supporting young people beyond mainstream education.
We help local partnerships collaborate more effectively, use evidence to drive decisions, and connect with national opportunities that strengthen the offer for children and young people.
